Description:

The triple Wavelength dual Color Potometer  model MoniSpec-C-AT simultaneously detects two colors in liquids.

Configurable for the measurement of:

Lovibond red/yellow, APHA or Hazen color number, ASTM1500 / Saybolt, ppm, mg/l, EBC, …

Measuring principle Color Photometer:

The sensor records the absorption at three different wavelengths to detect the colors of liquids. Three detectors with different sensitivities and a gas-filled full-spectrum measuring lamp are installed in the sensor optics.

Measuring channel / detector 1: Detects the absorption caused by turbidity and the first color.
Measuring channel / detector 2: Detects the absorption caused by turbidity and the second color.
Reference channel / detector 3: Detects the turbidity only.
The difference between the detector signals ([color + turbidity] – turbidity) results in the respective color measurement values.

Sealing material FKM: 
– The seals are made of FKM.
– Optionally, seals made of other materials such as FFKM, EPDM or silicone are available.
Process connections: DIN flanges, ANSI flanges, NPT, …:
– Various connection options for different process requirements.
Measuring range span: 0 – 0.1 AU up to 0 – 5 AU:
– The measuring range extends from 0 to 0.1 absorption units up to 0 – 5 absorption units.
Suitable for use in Ex-Zone I & Ex-Zone II (ATEX-Ex d IIC / T6):
– With the optional Ex- Equippement, the device can be used safely in hazardous areas.
Optional cleaning Jets:
– A probe with nozzles for cleaning the measuring cell can be installed as an option.
Cleaning is CIP-capable:
– The device is suitable for automated cleaning in the pipe (CIP).
